"Get under the table everyone! yelled Mrs Lees. I darted under the nearest table and clung to the table leg like a limpet clings to a rock, but the earthquake kept on shaking the earth like an angry giant shakes his club.
I could see everyone huddled together under tables, most of them looked as pale and as scared as me. I felt sick, nauseous and my heart was going "boom boom" as it thumped away in my
chest. I could hear a slight rumble and the frightened murmurs of the people around
me.

That is a great peace of writing and the part i liked most was when you wrote i turned as white as a sheet.
ReplyDeleteKaia, this is a quality memoir, I could feel your emotions coming through this piece of writing. It was a very real description, the detail provides a clear picture for the reader. I am very impressed with this.
